Creating a positive Safety Culture

Giffen Group place a high level of importance on safety beliefs, values and attitudes — and actively encourage these beliefs to be shared across the business. Culture can be characterised as ‘the way we do things around here’. A positive safety culture can result in improved occupational health and safety and organisational performance, empowering everyone to speak up and personally intervene if they feel a situation or behaviour may be unsafe. Creating a positive safety culture is the main aim of our ThinkSafe WorkWise philosophy and our Company Charter. We actively encourage everyone at Giffen Group regardless of roles, project or activity undertaken to become a Safety Leader.
