work was carried out at Earls Court Station to create
a safer and more accessible environment for the
travelling public.

Giffen Group secured its contract on competitive pricing combined with extensive experience gained from similar projects.

Scope of works

The project, which entailed completing works on the District and Piccadilly line ticket hall, District and Piccadilly line platforms, the Warwick Road exit and high level walkway, was completed to time and on budget, despite a demanding programme.

Giffen Group provided both electrical and security communications services which included the following disciplines:

Electrical Services:

  • Mains switchgear and distribution (manufactured by Giffen Switchgear)

  • Cable containment.

  • Public address

  • Long line telephone system.
